Paris Saint-Germain sporting director Leonardo has revealed that the club still harbour hopes of signing David Beckham.
The 36-year-old was heavily linked with a switch to the French Capital in November when his LA Galaxy contract expired.
However, the former England captain decided to extend his stay with the Galaxy.
"David Beckham coming to Paris is something that everyone dreamt about," Leonardo told the Sun on Sunday.
"Family considerations weighed in his decision. We tried everything we could. But the door is still open.
"Even though he's never played for Paris St Germain, it feels like he's already contributed something here."
Beckham has also played for Manchester United, Real Madrid and AC Milan.
