Blaise Matuidi's agent Mino Raiola has claimed that his client is "very disappointed" that a move to Juventus was blocked by the Ligue 1 giants.
The 29-year-old was reportedly targeted by Juve after they sold Paul Pogba to Manchester United for a world-record £89m fee.
It is believed that Matuidi's transfer was denied by PSG, whose president Nasser Al-Khelaifi recently claimed that the Frenchman will extend his contract.
"[Matuidi] is very disappointed to have been taken off of the market by PSG," Raiola told Premium Sport. "Now we will talk with the club and see. We are all surprised by their withdrawal from negotiations."
The midfielder's current deal expires in 2018.
