Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly preparing an offer for Paulo Dybala which would see the Juventus forward earn £11m a year.
The Argentine was subject to serious interest from Manchester United and then Tottenham Hotspur, but both clubs pulled out of the deal after failing to strike an agreement over personal terms and image rights.
Dybala's stance throughout the summer has been that he wants to remain in Turin, although there are doubts over his capacity to suit new manager Maurizio Sarri's playing style.
According to the Daily Mail, PSG sporting director Leonardo phoned Coutinho this week and offered him a five-year deal which would see him earn £11m a year.
The 25-year-old was reportedly swayed by the promise that he would be signed as a replacement for Neymar, who desperately wants a return to Barcelona.
Reports have claimed that Neymar is in a 'total war' with PSG's hierarchy, to the extent that the Brazilian is no longer speaking with Leonardo.
