Preview: Paris Saint-Germain vs. Evain TG

Sports Mole previews the Ligue 1 encounter between Paris Saint-Germain and Evian TG.

Paris Saint-Germain head into their match with Evian TG needing to ensure that they don't fall further behind the leaders in the Ligue 1 table.

A 4-2 defeat away at Bastia last weekend has left last year's champions four points adrift of leaders Lyon, but the club were boosted with a cup success at Saint-Etienne on Tuesday evening.

Manager Laurent Blanc will be without Salvatore Sirigu and Thiago Motta for Sunday's game, while Clement Chantome is unlikely to be available due to a chest problem.

Former Newcastle United midfielder Yohan Cabaye is in contention to earn a recall to the starting lineup.

Evian travel to France's capital without the services of Milos Ninkovic and Aldo Angoula, who are both absent through injury.

Coach Pascal Dupraz has witnessed his side go five matches without a win in Ligue 1, but the mood around the club has improved after last week's 1-1 draw with Rennes.

Dupraz will also take confidence from his team holding PSG to a goalless draw in the reverse fixture back in August.
