Salvatore Sirigu wary of Lille, Monaco title challenge

Salvatore Sirigu says that both Lille and Monaco are genuine challengers to Paris Saint-Germain's Ligue 1 title ambitions.

Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu believes that both Lille and Monaco will challenge his side for the Ligue 1 title this season.

While PSG are currently four points clear at the top of the table with 31 points from 13 matches, Lille are second and Monaco are third.

"Teams like Lille and Monaco are capable of winning the title, especially as they are not playing in Europe," Ligue1.com quotes him as saying.

"There are also clubs like Saint-Etienne and Marseille, who haven't started well, but who could get back into the title race. But for the moment, Lille and Monaco are the most dangerous."

PSG will take on Reims away from home on Saturday.
