Jeremy Menez has expressed his delight at scoring during Paris Saint-Germain's win over Reims on Saturday.
The French champions extended their lead at the top of the Ligue 1 table with a 3-0 win at Stade Auguste Delaune thanks to goals from Lucas Moura, Menez and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Following a hard spell out of the team due to injury and lack of form, Menez is pleased to be turning the corner.
"It was important to start well after the international break and we did that," Menez told the club's official website.
"My goal? It was a great run by Christophe [Jallet] who got down the right before crossing to Marco [Verratti] in the middle, who, in turn, played me in on the left. I tried my luck with the left-foot, I hit it hard without asking too many questions. The ball flew in! It was great.
"I'm feeling better and better after a difficult period. On a personal note, I'm happy, but I'm also happy for the team."
PSG are now four points clear at the top of the Ligue 1 table.
