Paris Saint-Germain coach Laurent Blanc has praised his players following their 2-0 defeat of Bastia in Ligue 1 this afternoon.

Goals from Lucas Moura and Edinson Cavani were enough to earn PSG a comfortable home win, with their boss moving to salute his side's performance.

"I'm happy with the whole team because we won and because I think we confirmed a very good performance against Reims last weekend," Blanc is quoted as saying by the club's official website.

"Against Reims we didn't take our chances and tonight we were very solid. Defensively we were very strong and we scored twice, so I'm very happy with the whole team."

PSG currently hold top spot in the Ligue 1 table.
