How Paris Saint-Germain could line up against Strasbourg

Sports Mole looks at how Paris Saint-Germain could line up in Sunday's Ligue 1 clash with Strasbourg.

Paris Saint-Germain could clinch the Ligue 1 title this weekend with an incredible eight games to spare.

As it stands, PSG are 20 points clear of second-placed Lille with a game in hand.

If Lille slip up against Reims on Sunday afternoon then Thomas Tuchel's side will land their sixth Ligue 1 title in seven seasons with a win over Strasbourg on Sunday night.

PSG have once again had to deal with disappointment in the Champions League, but they booked their spot in the final of the Coupe de France with a 3-0 win over Nantes on Wednesday night.

The Paris giants will now be looking to seal another league title with serious room to spare and with that in mind, Sports Mole has taken a look at how the hosts could line up on Sunday night.

POSS PSG XI vs. STR

Out: Neymar (foot)
Doubtful: Edinson Cavani (hip), Thomas Meunier (knee)

Neymar returned to training earlier this week following 10 weeks on the sidelines with a foot injury, but this match will come too soon for the Brazil international.

Edinson Cavani has also missed a host of matches in recent weeks, but the Uruguay international has been pictured in training ahead of this match. The striker could make the bench, although it seems incredibly unlikely that he will be thrown straight back into the starting XI this weekend.

Julian Draxler and Dani Alves both made their returns from injury against Nantes on Wednesday, meanwhile, and the pair could be handed starting roles this weekend.

Thomas Meunier, though, is still a doubt with a knee problem and is unlikely to be risked.

Like Draxler and Alves, Leandro Paredes came off the bench against Nantes during the week and the number eight is also expected to return to the starting XI against Strasbourg, potentially operating just beyond Kylian Mbappe, who has an incredible 33 goals to his name this term.
