Alex Neil: 'Preston North End can expose Wolverhampton Wanderers'

Preston North End boss Alex Neil claims that his side are capable of 'exposing' Championship leaders Wolverhampton Wanderers at Deepdale on Saturday afternoon.

Preston North End manager Alex Neil has backed his side to earn a result against Championship leaders Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday afternoon.

Wolves currently sit 12 points clear at the top of the second-tier standings, while Nuno Espirito Santo's team ran out 3-2 winners in the reverse fixture earlier this season.

However, Neil is taking the positives from almost coming from three goals down at Molineux and feels that the North-West outfit are capable of ending Wolves' three-match winning streak.

The 36-year-old is quoted by the Birmingham Mail as saying: "We're playing the best team in the league so far this season in terms of what they've managed to do.

"I think we gave a good account of ourselves. I'd like to think that we're a better team now and hopefully we can make sure that this is going to be a really good game for us.

"Every team has got vulnerabilities. I think we exposed some of those vulnerabilities last time. We will look at what they are good at, we'll look at how we're going to stop that, and then we'll look at where they're vulnerable and at how we're going to expose that."

Preston head into the game in seventh position, just three points from a place in the playoffs.
