Alberto Bueno joins Porto

Spanish striker Alberto Bueno leaves Rayo Vallecano on a free transfer to sign a five-year deal with Porto.

Porto have confirmed the signing of Alberto Bueno on a free transfer from Rayo Vallecano.

The 27-year-old has spent the past two years at Los Vallecanos, following previous spells at Valladolid and Derby County.

He has signed a five-year deal with the Portuguese giants and will link up with coach Julen Lopetegui, who previously managed him while he was at Real Madrid Castilla.

"I'm in a very good moment in my career, I'll try to learn with those around me and I'm determined to do my job under this great club," he told Porto's official website.

"I have no idea how the next season will go, but I want to do good things and improve my records and my skill, which has more to it than just scoring goals."

Bueno scored 17 goals in La Liga this season, including all four in a 4-2 victory over Levante in February.
