Team News: Sean McAllister back for Scunthorpe United

Scunthorpe United have Sean McAllister back in the starting lineup as they visit Plymouth Argyle in League Two.

Sean McAllister is restored to the Scunthorpe United starting lineup after the midfielder shook off the calf injury that kept him out of the midweek draw at Southend.

Scunny, who have gone a club-record 20 games unbeaten, also have winger Gary McSheffrey in the team after he overcame a back problem, but striker Deon Burton is still sidelined.

Meanwhile, Plymouth boss John Sheridan leaves out winger Jason Banton after the ex-Crystal Palace player failed to recover from a groin injury that has kept him out of Argyle's last four matches.

Plymouth Argyle: Cole; Blanchard, Trotman, Nelson; Berry, Young, Blizzard, Hourihane, Parsons; Reid, Alessandra

Scunthorpe: Slocombe, Nolan, Mirfin, Canavan, Williams, Hawkridge, McAllister, Syers, McSheffey, Winnall, Madden
