Peterborough boss Darren Ferguson confirms that the club have offered a new contract to striker Lee Tomlin.

Peterborough United manager Darren Ferguson has confirmed that the club have offered a new contract to striker Lee Tomlin.

The 24-year-old, who scored 13 goals for the club last season, is out of contract in 2015.

Ferguson has also dismissed reports claiming that Tomlin wants to leave London Road.

"Tomlin's fine, there's no problem. He's not asked to get away or anything like that," Ferguson told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire.

"We've offered him a new contract. He's very happy. He loves playing here and loves the way we play."

Tomlin moved to the League One club from Rushden & Diamonds in 2010.
