Jordan McMillan commits to Partick Thistle

Partick Thistle defender Jordan McMillan extends his stay at Firhill Stadium by signing a new two-year contract with the First Division champions.

Partick Thistle defender Jordan McMillan has extended his stay at Firhill Stadium by signing a new two-year contract.

The 24-year-old, who was included in PFA Scotland's First Division team of last season, joined champions Partick from Dunfermline Athletic in March.

"I'm really looking forward to the challenge ahead," McMillan told reporters. "I enjoyed my time here towards the end of last season and you get a feel for the place and you feel part of the club."

McMillan began his career at Rangers, where he made two senior appearances. He has also spent brief spells on loan at Hamilton Academical, Queen of the South and Wrexham.
