Roma maintain 100% start at Parma's expense

Kevin Strootman scores his first goal for Roma as they defeat Parma 3-1 at the Stadio Ennio Tardini.

Roma have come from behind to defeat Parma 3-1 at the Stadio Ennio Tardini thanks to goals from Alessandro Florenzi, Francesco Totti and Kevin Strootman.

The result means that Rudi Garcia has won all three of his games in Serie A.

Jonathan Biabiany opened the scoring in the 39th minute when he powered a header past Morgan de Sanctis.

It stayed that way until the half-time break, but the visitors were soon level after the restart courtesy of Florenzi's powerful drive.

The Giallorossi went ahead with just under 20 minutes left on the clock, as Totti controlled Strootman's chip over the top before finding the bottom corner of the net.

The Dutch midfielder got his name on the scoresheet for the first time since his £15m move from PSV Eindhoven when Gervinho was felled by Mattia Cassani inside the area in the 85th minute.
