Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini has rejected suggestions that Gennaro Gattuso could be sacked this weekend.
The former AC Milan midfielder only took charge of the Serie B side in the summer, but a poor start to the season has reportedly placed his long-term future in doubt.
"The Padova game will not be decisive for Gattuso. But it is a match we can't get wrong," Zamparini told Stadio News.
"This is what Serie B is, it's a division where you need time to find the right blend and set-up."
Palmero have taken just one point from a possible six this season.
