Derek Boateng close to Olympiacos move?

Derek Boateng reportedly arrives in Greece to undergo a medical with Olympiacos.

Derek Boateng is reportedly close to joining Greek outfit Olympiacos, having seen his proposed move to Fulham collapse over a contract dispute.

The 29-year-old, who currently plays for Ukrainian outfit Dnipro, came close to joining Fulham in the January window, but he was unable to secure a release from his contract.

It is understood that Fulham are still keen to sign the Ghana international, but according to Sky Sports News, the midfielder is currently in Greece undergoing a medical with Olympiacos.

Boateng came close to completing a move to Middlesbrough earlier in his career, but it was called off at the final moment.
