Former Sheffield United striker Ched Evans has reportedly held talks with Oldham Athletic over a move to the club.
The 25-year-old has been without a club since his release from prison in October, after serving half of a five-year sentence for raping a woman in a hotel in May 2011.
Oldham recently denied reports linking them with Evans, but the Wales international is discussing a potential transfer to the club, according to BBC Sport,
Professional Footballers' Association chief executive Gordon Taylor has revealed that an unnamed club will hold a press conference regarding negotiations with Evans on Monday.
