Blackburn Rovers are goalless against Nottingham Forest despite controlling possession for much of the opening half.

Blackburn Rovers have failed to find the breakthrough at the City Ground despite dominating possession for much of the first half against Nottingham Forest.

Nuno Gomes, Danny Murphy and Martin Olsson all had shots on the Forest goal, but they could not score the opener.

Forest grew in confidence in the closing stages, with Henri Lansbury causing problems in his first start for Forest.

Lansbury was again involved right on half-time as he escaped further action for a bad challenge on Olsson, before Lewis McGugan forced a save from Paul Robinson.
