Queens Park Rangers have reportedly ended their pursuit of Norwich City midfielder Leroy Fer.
R's manager Harry Redknapp recently admitted that he was eager to recruit the Netherlands international.
However, Norwich's asking price for the 24-year-old was beyond QPR's valuation, which has resulted in the West Londoners signing Cardiff City's Jordon Mutch instead, according to the Fulham Chronicle.
The report adds that with Mutch now in the squad at Loftus Road, Redknapp no longer views Fer as an essential target.
