Norwich City to push for Curtis Davies deal?

Norwich City manager Chris Hughton has reportedly finally decided to lodge a bid for Birmingham City defender Curtis Davies.

Norwich City manager Chris Hughton is reportedly planning to step up his efforts to sign Birmingham City defender Curtis Davies.

The 27-year-old former England Under-21s international centre-back has been linked with a move to the Canaries ever since Hughton left the Blues to take charge at Carrow Road on June 7.

Hughton will make a firm offer for Davies this week and he is also close to agreeing compensation for Birmingham and England goalkeeping coach Dave Watson, according to The Mirror.

Davies joined Birmingham in January 2011 and has made 60 appearances in all competitions for the St Andrews club.
