Norwich City forward Grant Holt is postponing making a decision on his future until after he has spoken to new manager Chris Hughton, according to the player's agent.
The 31-year-old, who scored 15 Premier League goals last season, had his transfer request rejected by the Norfolk club in May.
Hughton, who was appointed as the Canaries' new boss earlier this month, has made it clear that he wants Holt to remain at Carrow Road this summer.
The former Birmingham City manager is currently on holiday and Holt's agent Lee Payne has refused to discuss his client's future until he returns.
Payne told Norwich Evening News: "It is difficult to make any comment with Chris Hughton out of the country and I wouldn't want to comment either way until Chris is back."
Holt joined Norwich from Shrewsbury Town in 2009 for a fee believed to be in the region of £400,000.
