The chief executive of Norwich City admits that the Canaries will not be signing any more players.

Norwich City's chief executive David McNally has revealed that the club will not be recruiting any more players before tonight's 11pm deadline.

The Canaries had been heavily linked with Celtic striker Gary Hooper and had reportedly seen four bids rejected for the 25-year-old.

However, McNally has confirmed that the Norfolk-based outfit will not be lodging a fifth offer for the Englishman.

"Not expecting to do any further business today," he wrote on social networking site Twitter.

Earlier today Norwich captured the services of Luciano Becchio from Leeds United.
