Neil Adams wants Norwich City response

Norwich City caretaker boss Neil Adams believes that his side can get a result when they travel to Chelsea on Sunday.

Norwich City caretaker manager Neil Adams has said that he is expecting a response from his players when they travel to Chelsea on Sunday.

The Canaries have dropped into the Premier League relegation zone after five consecutive defeats, with the latest coming against Manchester United on Saturday.

Adams believes that his side is capable of securing a result at Stamford Bridge, despite losing their last eight matches away from home.

"What is done is done. It's a two game season," Clubcall.com quotes Adams as saying. "We have to be ready and we will pick the players up and they have to pick themselves up. Let's give a good account of ourselves.

"We can't beat ourselves up and think we are in big trouble, but we know this is a tough situation. We have two games we are capable of getting something, albeit that is hard to say after the second half performance [at United].

"We will be right for the next game and the one after that. It is not in our hands but we have to pick up points to stay in this division. It is as simple as that."

Chelsea ran out 3-1 winners when the sides last met at Carrow Road in October.
