Preview: Norwich City vs. Blackpool

Sports Mole previews Saturday's Championship clash between Norwich City and Blackpool.

Blackpool face another difficult challenge on Saturday as they look to do what seemed impossible by securing their Championship status for another season.

Since the start of the campaign Lee Clark's side have been favourites for relegation, and the bookmakers are unlikely to be changing their view anytime soon.

However, the fact remains that Blackpool can still avoid the drop, despite being nine points adrift of safety heading into their latest test.

Clark's side make the trip to Carrow Road to take on Norwich City on the back of a morale-boosting result after beating fellow strugglers Blackpool 1-0.

Despite taking confidence from that win, the pressure is on Blackpool to begin picking up points on the road as they look to improve on the dismal record of five points from a possible 42 in away games this season.

Norwich will be desperate to avoid slipping up against the league's bottom side as they aim to keep pace with their rivals for a spot in the playoffs.

Alex Neil's side currently sit three points outside the top six, and they are eager to get back to winning ways after dropping points in each of the last two weeks.

Tony Andreu could be ready to make his debut following his deadline-day move from Neil's former club Hamilton Academical, while Martin Olsson will still be in the squad after his own move to West Bromwich Albion collapsed due to weather in a frantic finish to the transfer window.

Clark is likely to resist the temptation to make changes as his side bid to win successive games for the first time this season.
