Chris Hughton delighted by new Jonny Howson deal

Norwich City manager Chris Hughton reveals that he is delighted by Jonny Howson's decision to sign a new deal with the club.

Norwich City boss Chris Hughton has expressed his delight with Jonny Howson's decision to sign a new contract with the club.

The midfielder penned a four-and-a-half-year extension on Tuesday, committing himself to the Canaries until the summer of 2018.

"We're delighted that Jonny has put pen to paper on a new deal," Hughton told the club's official website.

"A new contract comes in line with Jonny's form this season, which has seen him be a mainstay of the team and put in some impressive performances."

Howson joined Norwich from Leeds United in January 2012.
