Norwich City manager Alex Neil has revealed that Wes Hoolahan and Gary O'Neil could be fit in time for Monday's relegation clash with Aston Villa.
Both players were left out of the side for the Boxing Day trip to White Hart Lane, although Hoolahan was on the bench to watch the Canaries slump to a 3-0 defeat at the hands of Tottenham Hotspur.
Neil insists that neither are suffering from injuries, however, and that rotation of his squad was the reason that they did not feature on Saturday.
"Wes was one where if I had played him against Tottenham, he wouldn't have made the next one. The next game suits him," he told reporters.
"Gary O'Neil was a different situation, he couldn't make the [Spurs] game as he wasn't quite ready. We had to give him an extra day's rest."
The Canaries host Villa on Monday sitting just outside the relegation zone on goal difference alone.
