Team News: Nigeria draft in Kenneth Omeruo, Kelechi Iheanacho against Iceland

Kenneth Omeruo replaces Odion Ighalo in Nigeria's attack for their World Cup clash with Iceland.

Nigeria have rejigged their attack for today's World Cup Group D clash with Iceland, drafting in Kenneth Omeruo and Kelechi Iheanacho.

Former Watford man Odion Ighalo and Arsenal's Alex Iwobi are the ones to make way as the Super Eagles make three changes from their 2-0 defeat to Croatia last weekend.

In midfield, Nigeria have brought in Ahmed Musa in place of Shehu Abdullahi.

Meanwhile, Iceland coach Heimir Hallgrimsson has changed his formation from 4-5-1 to 4-4-2 and made two changes from the side which held Argentina to a 1-1 draw in their opening match.

Jon Dadi Bodvarsson of Championship side Reading and Rurik Gislason have been brought in to replace Emil Hallfredsson and Johann Berg Gudmundsson.

Bodvarsson will partner Alfred Finnbogason in the attack, while Everton star Gylfi Sigurdsson switches to an attacking midfield position.
