Report: Newcastle United make Daniel Wass approach

Newcastle United are interested in signing Denmark international Daniel Wass from Evian TG, according to a report.

Newcastle United are reportedly interested in signing Denmark international Daniel Wass from Evian TG.

The 25-year-old can play as a right-back, left-back or as a midfielder.

Wass is said to have attracted interest from a number of clubs, including Liverpool, Inter Milan and Schalke 04.

He joined Evian from Benfica in 2012 following a loan spell.

Newcastle have asked about the availability of Wass, according to the Daily Mail.

Wass has scored eight goals in 21 appearances so far this season.
