Championship duo Newcastle United and Aston Villa are reportedly prepared to battle Hull City for the signature of Ravel Morrison in the January transfer window.
Morrison, who was widely regarded as one of the best youngsters in English football during his time at Manchester United, has not made a single appearance for Lazio this season and has been tipped to leave at the start of 2017.
Hull have been strongly linked with a move for the controversial 23-year-old, but according to Calciomercato.com, the Tigers will face competition from Newcastle and Villa in the winter window.
Morrison is under contract at Lazio - the club he joined on a free in 2015 - until June 2019, although it is understood that he is currently available for around £600,000.
The midfielder has previously represented West Ham United, Birmingham City, Queens Park Rangers and Cardiff City in the English game.
