Newcastle United have reportedly joined the race to sign Renato Sanches, with a deal in January being something the club is pushing for.
The Lille footballer is somebody that several clubs are currently attempting to sign, but now the Premier League outfit have put themselves in that mix.
According to Calciomercato, the Magpies have put in a request for more information on Sanches, with the club reportedly being prepared to offer more money than others.
AC Milan are also keeping tabs on him at the moment, with Lille demanding a minimum of 35 million Euros for him, with his agent Jorge Mendes pushing to make a deal happen in January.
Sanches has featured seven times in Ligue 1 this season while also making three Champions League appearances, but he is yet to register a goal.
Meanwhile, Newcastle currently find themselves bottom of the Premier League as the only club in the division without a victory this season.
