Newcastle United 'reject' £14m Paris Saint-Germain bid for Yohan Cabaye

Newcastle United reportedly turn down a £14m bid from Paris Saint-Germain for midfielder Yohan Cabaye.

Newcastle United have reportedly turned down a £14m bid from Paris Saint-Germain for midfielder Yohan Cabaye.

PSG have been heavily linked with a move for the 28-year-old for much of January and now, according to PA, they have made an unsuccessful £14m move.

Cabaye has been in good form for the Magpies this season, scoring seven Premier League goals in a new advanced midfield role.

The Frenchman moved to the North East from Lille in the summer of 2011, making almost 80 top-flight appearances since then.
