Hatem Ben Arfa to leave Newcastle United in the summer?

Alan Pardew is prepared to let Hatem Ben Arfa leave Newcastle United in the summer, a report claims.

Hatem Ben Arfa could leave Newcastle United this summer, a report says.

The Frenchman was dropped for the midweek defeat to Tottenham Hotspur, and Alan Pardew is now ready to sell, the Daily Star claims.

The newspaper adds that words were exchanged between Ben Arfa and Pardew in the dressing room, and his future at St James' Park is now hanging in the balance.

Inter Milan were reportedly interested in the January transfer window, but a move failed to materialise.

Ben Arfa joined the Magpies from Marseilles four years ago.
