Aurelio De Laurentiis: "No chance" of Gonzalo Higuain sale

Aurelio De Laurentiis has insisted that there is "no chance" Napoli will sell striker Gonzalo Higuain during this summer's transfer window.

The Argentina international has been linked with several Premier League sides, but has a £66.8m release clause in his contract with the Serie A side.

The club's president told Italian TV channel Mediaset: "There is absolutely no chance that Higuain will leave. Gonzalo is a Napoli player.

"I have made his clause clear in order to stop the constant speculation that appears in the press. There is a precise clause."

Higuain scored 18 goals in 37 league appearances for Napoli last season.
