Napoli coach Walter Mazzarri says that the club are not giving up their chase for the Serie A title despite their defeat to Chievo on Sunday.

Napoli coach Walter Mazzarri has refused to admit defeat in the Serie A title race, despite his side's loss to Chievo on Sunday.

The Neapolitans were beaten 2-0 at Stadio Marc'Antonio Bentegodi to leave them nine points behind leaders Juventus.

However, Mazzarri has said that the team will continue to fight until it is mathematically impossible to catch Antonio Conte's side.

"I think the glass is half full and we cannot admit defeat yet," he told reporters.

"Second place? I have always said the goal is to finish within the first five places and we have more points than last year."

Meanwhile, Juve recorded a 1-0 victory over Catania on Sunday.
