Sports Mole rounds up the rest of the 6pm Europa League action, where Napoli and Bordeaux were the big winners.

In addition to the four featured matches reported by Sports Mole, there were eight other 6pm kickoffs in the Europa League this evening.

Much-fancied Serie A outfit Napoli were in action and made a winning start thanks largely to a Juan Manuel Vargas hat-trick.

Blerim Dzemali was also on the scoresheet as the Italians thrashed Swedish side AIK 4-0.

Dutch giants PSV Eindhoven fell to a surprise defeat in the other Group F clash, with Brazilian Matheus among the scorers for victorious Ukrainian club Dnipro.

Antonio Di Natale netted a 90th-minute equaliser for Udinese as they drew 1-1 with big-spending Anzhi Makhachkala in the other match in Liverpool's group.

Newcastle's Pool D rivals Bordeaux had no problem finding the target as they ran out convincing 4-0 winners over Club Brugge.

Czech outfit Viktoria Plzen started their campaign with a win, coming from behind to beat Portuguese club Academica 3-1.

FC Copenhagen top Group E after the opening round of fixtures following their 2-1 win over Molde, while Stuttgart and Steaua Bucharest played out a 2-2 draw.

Two more sides that shared the spoils were AEL and Borussia Mönchengladbach, who were stalemated at 0-0 come the final whistle.
