Juan Manuel Vargas "happy" to stay at Fiorentina

Juan Manuel Vargas says that he would be happy to stay at Fiorentina.

Liverpool target Juan Manuel Vargas has revealed that he would be happy to stay at Fiorentina.

The Peruvian winger has been linked with a move to Anfield this summer and was reportedly left our of Viola's pre-season trip amid protracted speculation.

However, Vargas has now said that he is keen to stay in Florence.

"I am training with Fiorentina and hope to stay here," said the 28-year-old. "I don't know what my future will be."

Vargas joined Fiorentina from Catania in 2008.
