NAC Breda record a comprehensive 3-1 victory against PEC Zwolle in today's Eredivisie clash at the Rat Verlegh Stadium.

NAC Breda have defeated PEC Zwolle 3-1 in today's Eredivisie clash at the Rat Verlegh Stadium.

After a largely uneventful first half, the deadlock was broken in the 38th minute courtesy of Stipe Perica's powerful shot, following a layoff by Kingsley Boateng.

The away side equalised early in the second half through Tomas Necid, who made no mistake after being put clean through on goal three minutes after the restart.

Breda, however, were awarded a penalty midway through the second period, with Erik Falkenburg subsequently sending the goalkeeper the wrong way from the spot to restore their advantage.

The home side made sure of the victory when, with just four minutes left of the game, Jeffrey Sarpong squared the ball to Elson Hooi, who duly fired home to put the result beyond doubt.
