Sports Mole looks ahead to Yeovil Town's first match in the second tier of English football against a Millwall side led by new manager Steve Lomas.

Millwall manager Steve Lomas has a whole host of summer signings to consider for selection ahead of his first competitive match in charge - a clash against newly-promoted Yeovil Town.

Midfielders Richard Chaplow and Nicky Bailey are both in contention for a first Lions start, while forwards Steve Morison, Scott McDonald and Jermaine Easter are all fighting for a place in the starting lineup.

Goalkeeper Stephen Bywater is likely to be frustrated in his push for a first-team spot, with regular starter David Forde set to keep his place under Lomas.

Yeovil boss Gary Johnson has fitness concerns over defenders Jamie McAllister and Nathan Ralph ahead of the Glovers' first-ever Championship fixture.

Summer signings Alan Tate and Joe Jones could take their place, while Michael Ngoo and Sam Hoskins will both be hoping to get the nod alongside Paddy Madden in attack.

Possible lineups:

Millwall: Forde, Dunne, Shittu, Beevers, Lowry, Henry, Chaplow, Martin, Keogh, McDonald, Morison

Yeovil:Stech, Ayling, Tate, Webster, Jones, Dawson, Edwards, Upson, Foley, Ngoo, Madden

Sports Mole says: 2-1
