Middlesbrough sign Norwich City's Daniel Ayala on permanent deal

Middlesbrough sign Daniel Ayala from Norwich City on a permanent deal following the defender's loan spell.

Norwich City have announced that defender Daniel Ayala has signed for Middlesbrough on a permanent basis.

The 23-year-old, who has moved to the Riverside for an undisclosed fee, has been on loan with the Championship outfit since October.

It has now been confirmed on the Canaries' official website that Ayala has signed a three-and-a-half-year contract with Boro.

Ayala has made 13 appearances in the Championship this season.
