Middlesbrough coach Aitor Karanka has praised his side following their 1-1 draw with Derby County.
Boro came close to earning three points at Pride Park last night, but Johnny Russell's late strike meant that the spoils had to be shared.
Despite being denied the victory with just a few minutes remaining, Karanka insists that his players can be pleased with their performance.
"Yes, I think it's a very good point," he is quoted as saying by BBC Sport. "It was not as great a performance as Saturday, we didn't play in our way but I'm proud of all of them as they worked against a very good team.
"It was our third game in six days so it's difficult to compete every single day, but for that reason I'm pleased. I would have liked to win the game, we were close, but we have to learn that one mistake [can cost you]."
Boro are back in Championship action on Saturday when they welcome Bristol City to the Riverside Stadium.
