Report: Damien Duff to join Melbourne City following Fulham exit

Damien Duff reportedly agrees to join Melbourne City after leaving Fulham at the end of last season.

Former Republic of Ireland international Damien Duff has reportedly opted to move to Australia to compete for Melbourne City.

The A-League club, which was recently bought by Manchester City's Abu Dhabi-based owners, is currently known as Melbourne Heart, but is expected to undergo a name change.

According to the Irish Independent, the club's first major signing since acquiring new ownership will be Duff, who left Fulham at the end of last season following a five-year stint.

The 35-year-old will reportedly complete his free transfer after the World Cup in Brazil.
