Mathieu Valbuena says that wearing the number 10 shirt for France is a dream come true.

Marseille star Mathieu Valbuena has spoken of his pride at representing France.

The 28-year-old looks likely to win his 20th cap for Les Bleus against Georgia this evening, playing in the number 10 jersey made famous by Michel Platini.

"Being a first-team regular involves a lot of responsibility," Valbuena told a press conference.

"I'm playing in a position I love, the number 10, and I have a lot of responsibilities, but that's also the case in every position.

"It's something I never imagined would happen. I'm incredibly proud to be playing for France, so to do so wearing the number ten is something amazing."

France face Spain in Paris on Tuesday.
