No Louis Van Gaal press conference until after World Cup

Louis van Gaal's World Cup commitments mean that he will not be presented as Manchester United manager until July.

Louis van Gaal will not be unveiled as Manchester United's manager until after the World Cup.

It was confirmed this afternoon that the 62-year-old had agreed a three-year contract to take charge of the 20-time champions of England from David Moyes, who was sacked in April.

However, due to his commitments with Holland this summer, Van Gaal will not hold a press conference until his team's campaign in Brazil comes to an end.

As a result, he will not be presented officially to the English media until July.
