Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has hinted that he may move to MLS in the future after claiming that he would 'conquer' the United States.
The former Sweden international signed a one-year deal with the Red Devils after joining on a free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer.
Ibrahimovic, who has scored seven goals in all competitions for United this season, has the option to extend his contract at Old Trafford for a further 12 months at the end of the season, but it appears as though he is already thinking of another destination.
"It's a huge option for me. For the football and everything else. I can see myself conquering the US as I have with Europe," Ibrahimovic told newspaper Aftonbladet.
"Lots of people stay in one place throughout their career, but I've travelled around like Napoleon, and conquered every new country where I've set foot.
"So perhaps I should do what Napoleon didn't and cross the Atlantic and conquer the States as well."
Ibrahimovic has also played for Malmo, Ajax, Juventus, Inter Milan, Barcelona and AC Milan during his career, winning a total of 27 trophies.
