Manchester United are reportedly ready for life without striker Robin van Persie and could let the Dutchman leave 12 months before the end of his contract.
According to the Evening Standard, the 31-year-old's indifferent form in front of goal has led the Red Devils to explore possible alternatives including Thomas Muller and Edinson Cavani.
However, Van Persie could be in line for a £10m windfall if he sees out the remainder of his deal at Old Trafford.
Van Persie could line up against former club Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday.
