Sports Mole rounds up the latest transfer rumours, including Benjamin Pavard to Inter Milan, Rob Holding to Luton Town and Djed Spence to Leeds United.

Inter Milan are reportedly closing in on the signing of Bayern Munich defender Benjamin Pavard.

The 27-year-old is seeking a fresh challenge after four years with the Bavarian giants, making 163 appearances and winning 10 trophies including four Bundesliga titles.

Pavard was heavily linked with a move to the Premier League earlier this summer amid reported interest from Manchester United, but Serie A side Inter now appear to have won the race for his signature.

According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Inter have agreed to sign Pavard from Bayern for an initial €30m (£25.8m) plus €2m (£1.7m) in add-ons.

Romano adds that the France international is set to travel to Milan on Tuesday ahead of undergoing his medical and putting pen to paper on his contract on Wednesday.

Pavard is set to become Inter's 13th signing of the summer transfer window and will replace Milan Skriniar who completed his move to Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer at the beginning of last month.

Over in the Premier League, Arsenal defender Rob Holding is reportedly attracting interest from newly-promoted Luton Town.

The 27-year-old is expected to leave the Emirates Stadium this summer as he appears to be surplus to requirements under head coach Mikel Arteta.

Holding has been left out of the matchday squad for each of Arsenal's opening three Premier League games of the new campaign, while he only started six league matches last season.

A number of clubs in Spain are believed to be interested in Holding, but the Evening Standard claims that Luton have joined the race for his signature.

The report adds that the Hatters have identified Holding as a loan target, and the defender will soon make a final decision on his future ahead of Friday's transfer deadline.

Luton have already made 10 summer signings since securing promotion from the Championship, with Mads Andersen the only centre-back to join the club thus far.

Dropping down into the Championship and Leeds United are closing in on the loan signing of Tottenham Hotspur right-back Djed Spence, according to a report.

The 23-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan at French club Rennes where he made just seven Ligue 1 starts between February and March of this year.

Spence has since returned to Spurs but he is not in the plans of new manager Ange Postecoglou for the 2023-24 campaign, and the North Londoners are willing to let him leave in search of regular first-team football.

According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Spence is set to join Leeds as they have reached an agreement with Tottenham to sign Spence on loan for a £1m fee with no option to buy.

Spence is said to have given the green light to make the temporary move to Elland Road and is ready to travel to West Yorkshire on Tuesday to undergo his medical.

The England Under-21 international is set to become the second Spurs player to join Leeds on loan this summer after Joe Rodon, and he will likely compete with Luke Ayling, Cody Drameh and Sam Byram for a place in Daniel Farke's starting lineup.
