Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is reportedly in touch with Cristiano Ronaldo over the possibility of the forward returning to Old Trafford during this summer's transfer window.
Ronaldo has again been in impressive scoring form for Juventus during the 2020-21 campaign, finding the back of the net on 36 occasions in 44 appearances in all competitions.
The Old Lady have conceded the Serie A title to Inter Milan, though, and could miss out on a top-four finish as they are currently fifth in the table heading into their final game of the season against Bologna.
The 36-year-old has a contract with the Old Lady until next summer, but there remains speculation surrounding his future in Turin.
According to The Athletic, Man United manager Solskjaer is open to bringing Ronaldo back to Old Trafford, with the two individuals currently in contact.
The report also claims that agents connected to the Portugal international are of the opinion that he could leave Juve during this summer's transfer window.
Ronaldo represented Man United between 2003 and 2009, scoring 118 goals in 292 appearances for the English giants ahead of a switch to Real Madrid.
