Sheffield United are reportedly keen on a January loan deal for Manchester United's Marcos Rojo.
The 30-year-old appeared for United's Under-23 side on Friday night but has not been involved for the first team this season, having fallen down the pecking order at Old Trafford.
Rojo joined Estudiantes on loan in January, but the move was cut short due to the coronavirus outbreak, and he remained with the Red Devils over the summer despite a host of speculation.
The Argentina international will be out of contract next summer and is expected to leave on a free transfer, but according to The Sun, Sheffield United are hoping to take him on loan for the second half of the 2020-21 season.
The report claims that Blades boss Chris Wilder has identified Rojo as the ideal replacement for Jack O'Connell, who could miss the remainder of the season with a serious knee injury.
The South American has made 122 appearances for the 20-time English champions since arriving from Sporting Lisbon in the summer of 2014.
