Sevilla are reportedly lining up a January offer for Manchester United forward Edinson Cavani.
The 34-year-old has only made eight appearances for the Red Devils this season, scoring just once, although he has been unavailable for selection for a number of matches due to injury.
Cavani's contract with the 20-time English champions is due to expire next June, and it is unlikely that the Uruguay international will commit his future to the club beyond this season.
A number of South American clubs continue to be linked with the experienced striker, but according to Fichajes, Sevilla are preparing an ambitious January approach.
The La Liga giants, as it stands, will be free to talk to Cavani over a pre-contract at the start of 2022, but Julen Lopetegui's side are allegedly keen to agree a fee with Man United to allow him to arrive in the middle of the 2021-22 campaign.
The striker, who would have to accept a pay cut to move to the Estadio Ramon, has scored 18 times and registered six assists in 47 appearances for the Red Devils in all competitions.
