Blackburn Rovers want Keane on loan

Blackburn Rovers boss Gary Bowyer is trying to secure a loan deal for Manchester United defender Michael Keane, according to a report.

Blackburn Rovers are reportedly interested in a loan deal for Manchester United youngster Michael Keane.

The 20-year-old defender, who spent a portion of last season on loan at Leicester City, played well as England Under-21s beat Moldova 1-0 at the Madejski Stadium on Thursday.

According to the Daily Mail, Rovers boss Gary Bowyer is looking to strengthen his defensive options and will try to do so by securing a short-term deal for Keane.

The 6'2" centre-back made his debut for United in a League Cup game against Newcastle United a year ago.
